WEEKEND DIY

A little DIY project I did this weekend to decorate my dinner table. Since the heat is up, flowers don't last too long in my apartment, so I decided to experiment and stumbled upon this super cool DIY home decor. It is an easy, cheap and the most important beautiful decor for your home. At the same time I had a lot of fun doing it as well. You just need a few things to make this table decor: some brunches as well as clay- you can get the clay at your local hobby shop. I got mine in Søstrene Grene- both silk clay and foam clay.

When you get the materials you just start rolling and do your magic. I made a mix between white silk clay and silver foam clay. I think it turned out to be beautiful. However, you can as well experiment with some brighter colours, of course. I have seen some beautiful DIY projects with pink clay as well.

Voila...

Here is the final version! You can keep it as long as you want I guess :) Happy Crafting and don't forget to follow and share.

FRIDAY MUST DO

Happy Friday!

After so much Christmas food and cakes, I am trying to cut down the sweets I am eating. However it is difficult or hardly possible to stop, especially in the weekends. That is why I would like to share with you my favourite muffin recipe-apple muffins with chocolate pieces. They are a healthier version of the traditional muffins and as tasty :-)

Here is what you need for the apple muffins:

- 1 tea cup of graded apples (appx. 2 small apples or one large)
- 1 tea cup of flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tea cup of sugar
- 1/3 tea cup of oil
- 80 gr. dark chocolate chopped in small pcs.
- a pinch of baking powder

* If you want to keep it as healthy as possible you can substitute the chocolate with raisins and the flour with blended oat flakes

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.

Step 2

Mix the eggs together with sugar and the oil. After that slowly add the flour and mix the ingredients with the help of a mixer. Finally add the apples to the mixure.

Step 3

The final step is to add the baking powder and the chocolate and slowly mix   With the help of a spoon. After the mixture is done, put it into the muffin forms, but remember not to fill them to the top. They will expand in the oven.

* Bake for 20 min at 180 degrees.

Happy Cooking!:-)

Don't forget to share if you like it.

Holiday Wishlist

Are you ready with your wish list for Christmas? If you are still wandering what to wish for, I hope that you can find some inspiration from mine. I know this year it is short but i really could not figure out what else to wish for :)
The items that I chose are very different prices so people can actually choose depending on how much they decide to give for a present. I would really love to finally get the power bank, because I have wished for it the past year as well and did not get it. I think it is a very useful item when travelling and I would put it in my MUST have travelling accessory. I also wouldn't mind to get the Dior mascara which is also one of the MUST haves on my Christmas wish list.

PRIMARK find

I like travelling to England at least one time per year to visit my family and do some shopping of course. I never miss visiting PRIMARK as a part of my shopping destinations. I love the place because you can get all kinds of cheap staff just like the pyjama on the picture. I simply love that one and I will make sure to include it in my Christmas wish list. It will be perfect for the Christmas evenings with a movie.

Christmas DIY Inspiration

I love Christmas, it's my favourite season and I am looking forward  to this part of the year very much. However, it is starting to get a bit too commercial, decorations are put too early, shopping centres decorated too early as well.

This year I have decided to prepare as every year and not follow this trend. I am preparing some new DIY projects suitable for your home and the Christmas table. Can't wait for sharing that. Until then... I want to remind you about some of my favourite Christmas DIYs from previous years.

I hope you enjoy them and I would love to share your pictures on the blog if you decide to try them, so don't hesitate and contact me if you do.

New IN from JUSTFAB

I have been a member of JUSTFAB for some time now but never ordered from their online shop. I am not really one of those that love online shopping and it is hard for me to just order staff online without really knowing the shop, their sizes etc. I have had very bad experience where I not only don't get the right products that I have ordered but I need to pay also for returning the unwanted items.

I guess what I am trying to say is that I would sometimes rather pay a little more and get the whole shopping experience while shopping with friends in a physical stores rather than ordering online. For the people that are following me for a long time, they sure know that I hop mostly in Ebay and NELLY.COM and PIECES

Anyways, as I mentioned I have been a member of JUSTFAB, which is a membership based online platform. They have diverse product range but I honestly love their shoes. I was a bit unsure if I should risk it and order because sometimes when you buy shoes the best is to try on the shoes, you know different companies, different sizes...

I was pleasantly surprised by the product I received. The shoes are beautiful and since I am a VIP member in the online store, I also got a special discount of 70% (I am not sure how much it was precisely, but it was extremely good price). The only tricky part is that after placing your first order, every month in the beginning you must indicate if you are planning to purchase or no. If you don't indicate that, you receive a fee that you need to pay. You can read more about that on their website.

Anyways, I had a great experience and I wanted to share it because if you are a student shopping on a budget it is a great way to buy cheap and trendy clothing. The website is present in different locations so just check it out, you will not regret just by looking.

What do you think about my new babies? Have you tried JUSTFAB before and what was your experience?
