Bulgarian Adventures Part 1

So... I arrived safe in Bulgaria after a long day of travelling from Aarhus to Copenhagen then continued by plane Copenhagen-Belgrad-Sofia... Quite an adventure it turned out to be but finally here.

I travelled with Air Serbia which has released recently this new route from Denmark to Bulgaria and I was extremly happy with their service. The prices were Very friendly which quite important when you are still a student. The staff was Very friendly and answered all the questions I had and I honestly I haven't seen so many beautiful women on one plane for a long time:-)) Food was great since I paid just a small prise from the value I got to receive. Anyways, if you travel somewhere in Europe, check their destinations as they are definitely worth it:-)

P.S. You remember it is my lil sister's graduation in just a number of days? I Will give you some updates on how the preparation for the prom night is going!

Sofia City Guide

One of the best think about travelling is getting wrapped up in the local life and culture. I have a list of different sites, shops, restaurants etc. that could be interesting for you to visit and see when you come to the capital of Bulgaria.

It was my boyfriend's first time in Sofia, so I had a small guide that I prepared for him beforehand. He loves art in particular modern art. So we went for an exhibition in the national gallery of the greatest Bulgarian artist. You can see some pictures from the exhibition :)

You should also visit the Memorial Temple Alexander Nevski, a beautiful place if you like visiting cathedrals, churches etc. I love going there. Unfortunately, I do not think I made any pictures this time as I did not have my camera.

One of my favorite places to eat is HAPPY BAR&GRILL, lovely restaurant, I usually go there every time I go back home. I also discovered a new, Bulgarian style restaurant, with amazing and very delicious food. It is placed in the center next to the biggest part in Bulgaria called-Borisovata Gradina. Great place to take a walk and enjoy yourself.

About shopping in Bulgaria, I am going to tell you in my next post. I am also going to should you what purchases I made while I was down there:)
