Advent DIY gift wrapping

What could be better than gift wrapping in the weekend just before travelling to England for the holidays. I want everything to be ready and next weekend I will be packing and cleaning the apartment. Last weekend I packed the presents for my boyfriend's family and this weekend is the rest of the family.

Weekend DIY Christmas Cookies Jar

Christmas season always puts me in a creative mood and this weekend I have been very productive, not only decorating my little apartment but also try to do something extra.

Todays DIY PROJECT is a jar for cookies with Christmas motives, that you can also use to store candies and other sweets during the Christmas season. It is great because it does not require the purchase of a lot of additional materials but  what you have at disposal.

     

Here is what you will need:

 - an empty glass jar (you can buy one, or reuse one, as I did)

 - stickers with Christmas motives (you can get that at any hobby shop for example-søstrene grene)

 - Christmas ribbon, I have chosen two different ones (you can buy them at søstrene grene)

You must clean  the jar well and remove the sticker that was originally put, if you are re-using one. Then you must measure the christmas sticker according to how wide the jar is and stick it carefully. Be careful, with leaving air between the sticker and the jar because you will end up having balloons of air and it would not look as pretty. When you are finished with that, the last thing you need to do is choose a ribbon and put a bow on the jar.

Christmas mood ON 2014

Hello Darlings,

I hope you are enjoying the great Christmas mood !

This year I am a little bit too busy with work and school that I have not finished my Christmas shopping. I am usually very organized and I am starting with the Christmas presents from August-September but this year it has been very intense due to my Masters thesis. Shame on me!! I know:)

Anyways still some presents to go, so I will try and arrange getting some the next two weeks, hopefully I can also get some better deal with the upcoming days.

Last week was the photo shoot for Contessa Jewellery, so it was quite great to be behind the scene and observe the actions behind the camera. More to come this weekend... I know that these oho toes are not that good quality but I tool them with my iPhone and the light was not so good for it.

Christmas wishlist

The time for the Christmas wishlist ha come. I usually enjoy doing it every Christmas but apparently this year, there are not that many things I wish for.  

On the top of my list is definitely the Christmas sweater with Santa or Christmas image, one like that is never too much. Next on the list is the rubber boots. I always get a pair of black ones but I think a pair of more colorful and cheerful rubber boots will be great to have.

And last, very practical and useful product-the pocket scale for measuring your luggage. Nowadays, when we travel with companies like Ryanair and EasyJet that charge their customers for anything they can, this little pocket scale would be of a great importance.

Времето за Коледния списък с желания дойде. Обикновено се наслаждавам да го правя всяка Коледа, но очевидно тази година няма толкова много неща, които искам.

На първо място определено е коледен пуловер. Следващо в списъка ми са гумени ботуши. Винаги получавам чифт черни, но мисля, че един чифт по-цветни и весели гумени ботуши ще бъде супер за студените зимни дни.

И на последно място, много практичен и полезен продукт-скала джобен размер за измерване на багаж. В днешно време, когато пътуваме с компании като Ryanair и EasyJet, които ни карат да плащаме за всичко, което могат, този малък продукт, би бил от голямо значение.
