I wish you a lovely summer week. The weather in Denmark is getting even warmer, so time for relaxing and sunbathing has come also here.

This calls for a recipe for a refreshing summer drink: pineapple fresh with mint leaves (you can add also brown sugar and a little bit go lime, too).

DIY bracelet

My mini workshop for the past week. Welcome!

I am quite keen on DIY projects with semiprecious stones recently since when I was in Bulgaria, I noticed that they are quite popular. I have now my little collection of gemstone jewellery and I wanted to hear what you think about them. Do you have any in your jewellery box? Favourite stones?

For this DIY,  I chose to use blue howlite turquoise that you can buy HERE. I like to handpick the stones usually but if there is no local shop where you can get them, you can try ebay.

HERE is a nice WIKI tutorial that may help you in the making. If you are interested in some other tutorials for jewellery I will be happy to record some, just let me know.

If you are interested in the healing  power of the stone, it is a great remedy for insomnia and also understanding your dreams... quite interesting when you start reading about the different healing powers of the stones. :) (my new passion)

New IN from SAMMYDRESS

I am so happy to have finally received my SAMMYDRESS vintage leather bag. I was very much in doubt if I should buy a blue one or a brown one but since I love brown and it fits most of my closet then i decided to go for that one instead of the blue one. Well... I was right to do that. It was a love from first sight. 

You can see the size on the picture- not too big or too small, no zipper ... so... typical shopper bag-the perfect solution for the summer season. It has a small purse inside the bag in case you are not comfortable carrying your wallet in the bag since it does not have a zipper on the top. You can freely fit your 13 inches size laptop in the bag. The quality of the leader looks quite fine taking into consideration the price that I paid. You also get the long handle that is inside the bag so if you don't like to use the short handles, you can actually add the extension. 

Since SAMMYDRESS is an Asian based online store,  I was worried that the delivery will not be one of the fastest but it was quite quick in fact. It took no longer than a week, I think, from the time I ordered it.
