Wine tasting

I have been so busy and occupied with my thesis that I haven't had a breat of fresh air for the past weeks. So my boyfriend took the initiative to get tickets for wine tasting. It was great idea to take a break and not think about school for a second. We just enjoyed some great wine... And even we left with some great steals from there :-)

GUEST POST: 4 Creative Ideas for Your Fashion Bucket List

Bungee jumping, skydiving or swimming with dolphins – yes, we all got those activities on our bucket lists. How about our fashion goals? Every fashion girl has something that they want to accomplish in their lives – from owning a Channel bag to meeting our favorite fashion designer. While I was thinking about it, I came up with four must-do ideas for my bucket list.
  1. Own a walk-in closet – Ever since I watched Sex and the City and I saw Carrie Bradshaw’s walk-in closet I have set a goal that in my future house, there’ll be a room dedicated to my closet. Imagine having enough space to organize clothes, shoes, accessories, jewelry and actually being able to see all of them at once. Isn't that the dream of every girl?
  2. Go to Milan Fashion Week – Behind the scenes or just as a participant, every  fashion fan needs to experience the atmosphere and enjoy the catwalk shows of the top fashion luxury houses and models in the world.

  3. Go on a no budget shopping spree – Have you ever wanted something that you can’t afford? Been there, done that! Every time I go shopping, I wish that one day I can actually not care about the money and buy whatever I want. Sounds like heaven. I’m sure THAT day will come!
  4. Design your own dress – In our minds, we all have ideas of how the perfect dress should look like. You can’t find it in the shops? Then design it yourself. Just imagine how satisfied you could be with the result.

What do you have on your fashion bucket list? Share your ideas with us!

Weekend with FindersKeepers

Yesterday, it was a lovely day in Aarhus so me and my boyfriend we decided to visit the Design market FindersKeepers. It was great to see so many talented and creative people on one place exhibiting their products. You could find beautiful things such as artworks, things for the house like amazing wooden furniture with regional designs:) as well as handmade jewellery from a number of Danish designers... and of course high-end or more exclusive second hand clothing.

I was interested in anything beautiful, but since with my boyfriend we are trying to collect pictures and paintings for our gallery wall. I will tell you about this a little bit later in a future post, where I will show you what I have collected so far... but this we will leave for later.

I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to picture all of the designers since there were quite a lot of visitors. The market is very popular so of course, it it full of people that would buy the beautiful creations that are being presented.

I love this stand... it was one of my favourite designs for the home Trine Rytter Ceramics HERE   has amazing creations that can be used in different context... candle holder, vase etc... you say it. Amazing work with ceramics and of course the colours were very great as well.

This is the stand by Fragment Jewellery that you can find on the link HERE. Very interesting designs and techniques. Beautiful jewellery.

... and of course one of my favourite designers- Marika Christensen and her bymarika creations, we interviewed her from our November: Inspiring story HERE. Now she is running a new brand of handmade minimalistic jewellery made from gold and silver. You can see a great selection of her designs on her website HERE and follow her on #bymarika.

I hope you enjoyed this post and follow

Current Cravings

I am just in love with Olivia Palermo's polka dotted cropped trousers. They look just so amazing and the way she has paired them with this asymmetric top... I can't close my mouth.

The WIDE TROUSERS are all over the new SS15 COLLECTIONS. I have been making a list of things that I will need for the new season to refresh my closet, so I was browsing around different online shops. I found a number of great pairs of trousers that I would love to be a part of my new look during the next season :) Here is just a small selection of some of my favourites. What do you think? Do you own a pair already or are you about to purchase one?

Healthy Pancakes DIY

I am trying to get fit for the summer season, so I have been trying to exchange the fat and unhealthy food with some more healthy meals for the past 2 weeks. Here is one of my favourite recipes- 100% sugar free and flour free tasty pancakes perfectly suited for Sunday breakfast:)

For every two eggs and one banana, you will have approximately 2-3 pancakes, so have that in mind when you decided to make them.

STEP 1: First, make sure the bananas you have chosen are not green, because it will be hard to smash them with the fork.

STEP 2: Add the eggs to the bananas.

STEP 3: Use the mixer until it turns to a homogeneous mixture.

...and VOILA..

You get perfectly delicious pancakes. I used some blueberry jam and banana slices, but you can use whatever you want on.

Thanks to Sarah Louise for the great recipe and I highly recommend you to try it.

Have a lovely Sunday!

Spring in Rubber Boots

The season for rubber boots is here, again. Spring is usually the time when the weather gets warmer and makes a joy to be out in the sun but at the same time it has its crazy mood swings by bringing the rainy days.

I have been wishing for them for such a long time but finally they are mine :) They are so comfortable and much better than any rubber boots I have used before. My feet are going to be happy when it's raining :) You can get them in ASOS, HERE is a great selection of HUNTER boots both for men and women.

Have a lovely day!

GUEST POST: HeForShe

Happy International Women's day!

We all have someone in our family that needs lots of attention on this special day. Mothers, sisters or girlfriends – they all deserve your time today. Surprise them with flowers or give them some chocolate, it does not matter; just show how much you appreciate them.

Celebrated internationally, Women’s day tries to recognize women’s achievements and also encourage gender equality and the idea that women and men should have the same human rights. For decades, women have been discriminated or underestimated in different aspects of live – they are paid less, less likely to hold higher positions, do not have access to education or health and so on. Progress has been developed, thanks to different organizations and campaigns, but we still have a long way to go.

Recently, one popular initiative was created by the UN Women called #HeForShe. Aiming at achieving gender equality and women empowerment, the campaign tries to change the fighting strategy and include not only women but also boys and men. Emma Watson is one of the ambassadors of the campaign and her speech became a viral hit on social media. You can see the video here.

Have a lovely weekend and support the campaign #HeForShe!
